ABOUT

DR. CHRISTIE WISEL, DACM

     Acupuncturist

As a life-long athlete and a passion for health, Dr. Christie Wisel has always been intrigued with the functions of the human body. Growing up in Fairbanks, Alaska instilled a foundation of taking care of her health from a holistic approach. Dr. Wisel believes all people are designed to be well and that healing ultimately comes from the inside out.

Living abroad in Australia and exploring other careers lead her to dig deeper into finding a path that aligned with her beliefs of living a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Graduating with her Doctorate from Pacific College of Health Science in San Diego, Dr. Wisel has been able to utilize her training in acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, manual therapies and facial rejuvenation to safely and effectively get her patients looking and feeling their best and back to their optimum health.

Dr. Wisel completed 3700 hours of hands-on clinical experience at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA. She also spent some time as a consultant at San Diego Cosmetic Acupuncture clinic. Although she loved this experience, her true passion was found when interning at the University of California’s RIMAC Sports Medicine Facility. She had the opportunity to work on and with Divison 1 athletes as well as treating children at Rady’s Children’s Hospital.

She believes in working with her patients to give them not only the treatment they need, but the knowledge and tools they need to gain control over their future well-being. Dr. Wisel lives an active lifestyle and enjoys spending time outdoors. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, fishing, painting, cooking, and traveling the world with friends and family.
